Automatic glass jar honey filling machine
Automatic Glass Jar Honey Filling Machine
This automatic glass jar honey filling machine is built for sticky and high-viscosity products such as honey, syrup, jam and sauce. It uses a servo piston filling system with anti-drip nozzles to improve filling accuracy, reduce honey tailing and keep the jar mouth cleaner before capping.
The machine can be customized for glass jars, honey bottles, PET jars and wide-mouth containers. It can work as a single honey filler or connect with capping, labeling, coding and packing machines to form a complete honey bottling line.
Key Features:
- Clean Honey Filling: Anti-drip nozzles help reduce stringing, leakage and product waste.
- Built for Thick Liquids: Suitable for honey, syrup, jam, sauce, paste and other viscous products.
- Flexible Jar Compatibility: Adjustable for different glass jar sizes, bottle shapes and cap types.
- Complete Line Support: Can be combined with capping, labeling, coding and packing machines.
- Easy Operation: PLC touch screen control makes volume adjustment, speed setting and production changeover easier.

FAQ:
The machine is designed for viscous products using a servo-controlled piston filling system. However, the honey must remain sufficiently flowable for stable pumping and accurate dosing.
Cold or partially crystallized honey may require gentle warming before filling. An optional double-jacket hopper with mixing and heating functions can help maintain more consistent viscosity during production. We recommend testing the machine with your actual honey at the lowest expected factory temperature, rather than testing only with warm or diluted samples. The final temperature should follow your own product-quality and processing requirements.
The conveyor guides, jar-positioning components and capping pressure are adjusted according to the actual jar diameter, height, weight and glass quality. Stable jar spacing and controlled conveying are especially important for hexagonal, lightweight and wide-mouth glass jars.
Before manufacturing, customers should provide actual jars and lids for testing. This allows the machine to be adjusted around the real container instead of relying only on drawings or dimensions. Different jar shapes can normally be accommodated, but substantial differences may require dedicated change parts or separate machine settings. The machine is designed for different glass jar sizes, shapes and cap types.
Yes. The capping system can be customized according to the actual closure, including common screw caps and twist-off metal lids.
Standard cap tightening and vacuum capping are different processes. When the product requires a vacuum seal, pop-button lid or specific residual-vacuum level, this must be confirmed before production so that the correct capping system can be selected. Actual jars, lids and liners are required to test lid feeding, positioning, tightening and sealing performance.
The line can also be connected with labeling, coding and downstream packing equipment according to the final packaging process.
The product page lists a customizable speed range of 10–100 BPM with 1–12 filling nozzles. However, the actual stable output depends on:
- Number of filling nozzles
- Filling volume per jar
- Honey viscosity and temperature
- Jar diameter and stability
- Cap-feeding and capping speed
- Required filling accuracy
- Cleaning and production-change frequency
A line filling 100ml jars with warm, flowable honey will normally run differently from a line filling 1000ml wide-mouth jars with cold, thick honey. The guaranteed production speed should therefore be confirmed after testing the customer’s actual product, jar and lid—not calculated only from the number of nozzles.
The FAT should use the customer’s actual honey, glass jars and lids whenever possible. We recommend checking:
- Filling accuracy across multiple consecutive jars
- Honey dripping, stringing and jar-mouth cleanliness
- Performance with the thickest expected honey
- Glass jar conveying without tipping or impact
- Lid feeding, tightening and sealing consistency
- Changeover between different jar sizes
- Hopper heating and mixing performance, when included
- Cleaning and product recovery after production
- Connection with labeling, coding or packing machines
- Safety guards, alarms, manuals and electrical drawings
The supplier supports customer factory inspection and third-party testing. Customers should send jar samples, lid samples, filling volumes and target output before the final machine configuration is confirmed.
